We have 12 manufacturing locations in 9 countries for recycling of lead, Aluminium and plastic scrap.
Gravita’s Indian operation started in 1992 from Phagi (Jaipur) unit where the first lead recycling plant was established. Since then capacity of recycling expanded to other locations and also capacity of existing locations enhanced. The present recycling capacity is above 1,50,000 Mt per year for Lead, Aluminium and Plastics.
Each location has capacity and capability to produce customized products for OEM applications and Phagi location has manufacturing capacity for Lead oxides, lead sheets, lead powder and lead balls additionally.
Gravita’s other manufacturing locations are located at Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Gandhidham (Gujarat) and Kathua (Jammu). Gravita has equipment fabrication facility in SEZ, Jaipur where we fabricate customized equipment for application specific
In 2000, Gravita initiated manufacturing operations in Srilanka followed by Africa in 2006. Both capacity and capabilities enhanced at all locations. During last 15 years, we expanded to Ghana, Senegal, Mozambique, Tanzania, Nicaragua, Jamaica and Costarica. The aim of aforementioned plants is the eco friendly, efficient recycling and produce industry specific products. We are largest recycling units in Africa. We are also associated with ILA and UNEP for their environment protection agenda.
