Gravita has started commercial production of washed polypropylene by installing new automated eco-friendly washing line having annual capacity of 6000 MTPA at its existing recycling unit situated in Jaipur.
The production from the said plant will cater the needs of the industries manufacturing polypropylene sheets, paint buckets, polypropylene crates, battery boxes.
The company has made an investment of approx Rs 150 lakh for procuring and commissioning of this plant which is invested from internal accruals of the company.
With the kickstart of commercial production of washed polypropylene, the company expects an increase of Rs 300 lakh in its bottom line.
