Gravita was established in 1992 by Rajat Agrawal, a first-generation entrepreneur. Our business is organized across four specialized verticals: Lead Recycling (flagship), Aluminium recycling, Plastic recycling, and Turnkey projects. We possess specialist expertise in the recycling of used batteries, cable scrap\/other Lead scraps, Aluminium scrap, Plastic scrap, etc. Our operations are spread globally, including in the Americas (Nicaragua), Africa (Ghana, Senegal, Mozambique, and Tanzania), and Asia (India: Kathua, Jaipur, Jaipur SEZ, Gandhidham, Chittoor, and in Sri Lanka). Our deep-rooted procurement network is spread across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, comprising a total of 27 own yards, 1,400+ touchpoints, and 160,000 MT+ scrap collection capacity. Our ability to manufacture customized\/value-added products strengthens our margin profile and opens up a larger share of the customer’s product mix. Our value-added products include customized Lead alloys, Lead sheets, Lead bricks, Red Lead, Lead oxide, Lead balls, customized Aluminium alloys, Plastic granules, Pet flakes (food grade), etc., that are used across diverse applications. Our 300+ customer base is located in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, spanning 40+ countries Our Indian operation serves 200+ domestic customers located in 18 states of the country, and 60+ customers located in 20 countries around the world. We offer comprehensive turnkey solutions for Lead battery recycling, leveraging our deep-seated and longstanding experience in the business and in-house Lead battery recycling technology. We also offer technical consultancy services for recycling. The Company’s track record in this line of business is evident in the fact that it has executed 50+ turnkey projects globally. The Company’s top management has an average experience of more than 30 years in diversified industries. Further, it has separate SBU heads for all verticals, thus ensuring a dedicated focus on growth. For the value creation of employees, the Company has activated incentive schemes throughout the organization, while also completing four rounds of ESOPs.
