We have scrap battery dismantling and lead smelting processing unit in Senegal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>This plant was set in 2008 and we worked with UNEP (United Nations Environment Program) for not only safe and environment friendly recycling process. Due to informal lead process in rural areas of Senegal, soil and water got contaminated due to hazardous content of scrap batteries. We put our dedicated resources and ensured removal of such content from soil. Post this incident, Gravita joined with UNEP for not only green recycling but also treatment of contaminated soil<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0886ff6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0886ff6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">We are producing unrefined lead in Senegal and supplying to our Indian plants. We are also exporting unrefined lead to US and Europe market for radiation shielding applications and for construction applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Recently we have set up plastic recycling facilities also and exporting plastic granules to US and India market.
